Anyone fancy a girls weekend in September?
« on: May 23, 2012, 11:12:01 PM »
Anyone fancy a girls weekend out in late September or early October (adults only)? I was thinking around the 22nd September, either for a weekend or just the Saturday night.

Location yet to be decided but probably a hotel deal somewhere, probably central-ish (somewhere between Birmingham-ish and Leeds) but that depends on who's keen and what offers are available.

Just a thought at the moment, if anyone's keen we can start padding it out.

Could be interested but would depend on where and how central.   Leeds isn't centralish for me  :-\

I would only be able to do the saturday night.

You can either have wall to wall sunshine, or be close to the northern crew....  I can't believe you chose the sunshine CB2!  :)  ;D

I mentioned Leeds as it depends on who's up for this. Previously it's been Jo and some of the North Eastern gang so Yorkshire was a fair choice, Birmingham way's probably easier for others.

If we choose a hotel offer it's likely to be flexible, one or two nights, there are usually a good choice around.

There is a murder mystery evening I fancy on KGB, it's in the Liverpool bit but is for Birmingham city centre, no September dates though, it's £99 for two people including dinner and breakfast which is not too bad, I think the dates are all Friday nights so we could stay Saturday as well.

Mmmm possible the closer to Birmingham the better for me, like the idea of a murder mystery!!!
If you obey all the rules you miss out on all the fun!!!
Wouldn't it be nice if the world was flat then we could push off people we didn't like!

I would love to come, but possibly only one night. Also I can't do the 22 September as we are away with family that weekend. Any other weekend in September is ok at the moment. A murder mystery evening sounds like fun, but I would be interested with anything!!!!

I've just joined this site and saw this and thought 'fab!' - Yes, I'll be up for that. Could do with a girlie weekend away. Sounds great! Any weekend in September is good for me as it's far enough away that I can swap weekends round and get cover for my twins.

(georgie_3 - I just noticed that you're in Nottingham. I'm in Cotgrave. Are you anyway near me? Thought maybe we could meet for coffee sometime if you weren't too far away.)
