More cheap Trips for non-campers in May/June ?????
« on: February 28, 2010, 02:39:16 PM »
Hi Silky,   i have booked my first trip to Norfolk for a week, as its not until August, which is miles away, i keep hoping something will be posted for a shorter, affordable and local break near the North West.  Yes, i know there are Camping trips but for some of us camping does not appeal.    I did fancy the Tipi Break but its too close to the Norfolk Beach Holiday and funds will be very limited by then.  May be a YH, ????   ;)
Also, as i booked my full week on different dates (but within the same week) am i still entitled to the 15% discount and how does that work???     Many Thanks Pam

Hi Pam
There are two cheap trips for non campers in May - the Welsh Bunk barn for May Day, and the Lake District trip for the Spring Bank holiday. Both are cheap and cheerful, and within easy reach of you - there are only a limited number of spaces now left on these.

The full week discount will apply to you Norfolk booking.

Hi Pam

Thanks for that!  I've found it - pretty obvious really.

The boys will be away with their Dad that weekend, so I'm thinking of booking it and going on my own :)

Ah well, u may as well make the most of it.  I will only be taking one of my kids, my teenager doesnt like to be seen out with me much now!.   Will be good to meet u.  U may miss your little ones but we may be a bit jealous of u having time to yourself too!  Get booking.  If u live near i dont mind giving u a lift up there.  x

Hi Pam

I don't have little ones, I have 2 teenage boys and, much like yours, they are not keen on going anywhere unless there are a) other teens they've met before b) constant action.  Little ones are a definite no!

I can't book for the Lakes yet.  Got to see how the old finances look nearer the time.  Also, was really hoping to go to Aintree tomorrow and would have met you there, but my boys have been visiting their Father in France and I've got to meet them at Birmingham Airport early on Friday, so it was just not practical.

You'll have a great time.  Ann and Kevin are a great couple.
