I got lots of my camping stuff through my local freecycle group including gas bottle and gas heater (an absolute blessing).

Looking forward to meeting lots of you this year.  As soon as I get paid this time I will be booking several of the trips.

Why have I not found this group before, keen camper, been single forever and have spent many a night lonely in a tent whilst my son slept.

I can be relied on for a ready supply of kitchen roll (an essential) Wine (what ever is beyond essential) and either gin or what ever tipple I am partial to.   Oh and for the morning I will have coffee!

long lasting dinner (tins)

Eather a tin of mince and gravy or stewed steak
tin of potatoes
tin of peas
tin of carrots

boil the potatoes for a short while, heat up the meat peas and carrots and add potatoes at the end.
fills a huge gap and something you can always have stocked ready
