Down the road apiece ....
« on: February 25, 2012, 12:34:33 PM »
Thinking about the summer (like one does)

Been researching campsites that are not too far away so we can be ready for spur of the moment let's-go Fridays.

Found one that charges by the person (not by the number of tents) - was begining to lose faith in the Great British Camp Site.

However, they do have a nightly charge for: Caravans, Trailer tents and Motor homes

As the site is really really close it seems like a good place for the season starter shakedown w/e - to check we have a full compliment of the necessary for trips further afield :)

Result :)
Two things we give our children: roots & wings

Great minds think alike Bobbley, I did the same thing yesterday as I was thinking of making a camping app. The AA one is great, many missing though as well.

Darn it - had to go and buy the April edition of camping magazine - this one had a map on with sites.

Thinking of snapping the gang when in Norfolk and sending it in - as they publish a lot of campers piccies and now it looks like they may publish site reviews too.

Getting tempted with subscription offer too....!

You have given me an idea actually, I would be quite straight forward to build a gallery style app where users would take a photo whilst and add it to the gallery for others to see.

I will have a think and get back to you.
