Spring Camp is now online for booking - as some of you have found out! A lovely site with good facilities and picturesque views, and a swimming pool for anyone wishing to dip their toes.

Hi all - it's been a long time since I logged on to the forum but very excited to see the camping trips starting to come up for this year

As I have, after 2 years of talking abut it, finally bought a tent and booked this one we will be come on our first SWK camping holiday.

Can't wait - roll on May.

The problem with tropical is you have to make sure the kids keep putting the sun cream on. That's if you can find them to remind them.

Oh yes! The first year we went to this site we timed it perfectly to coincide with a May heatwave - the kids were waiting at the gate for the outdoor pool to open, it was so hot.

We've been lucky with the weather on a number of camping breaks, the New Forest has usually been quite sunny and warm, Shell Island was too hot last year and we could only cope with a couple of hours on the beach before seeking shade. We've had a few spectacular downpours too of course but all good fun in a group.

Am hoping to get on this but need to negotiate a swap to opposite weekends with my ex as all the camping trips are on his weekend to have kids

This happened last year too which is why I didn't make any of them, so watch this space....I soooo need a camp with all you guys again
