Hampshire???
« on: August 03, 2011, 11:36:53 AM »
Hi, I'm in Havant (I'm not sure if this makes me SE or SW) but just thought I'd post that I'm here with my 11 year old daughter, and that it would be good to hear from other SWK-ers in the area.

We're normally out and about doing things and company is always welcome. Alternatively any invites for days out or meet ups would be nice.

Hello

There are a few of us spread about Dorset and Devon.  Watch the boards - if I do a meeting it is normally in the Poole area.

Hi and welcome to SWK  :D

I am on Hants/Dorset border so def confused with South East/South West thing.

I am told an hours drive is about the norm for SWK meets - although I am usually lost after driving for about 20 mins!  For example, one of the SWKers I meet regularly is in Waterlooville and I recently did Marwell with a Dad from Guildford. We have had a few things going on with  outings, evenings out etc - have a look in the expired events.  The range for our  kids is pretty big 3 - 17.

Try and get along to something somewhere though or perhaps a holiday, I am sure you wont regret it  ;D

Alternatively, post something up yourself - there is no monopoly on who suggests what.  Only thing to watch is it doesnt clash with an official SWK holiday.
Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.

hello!!!

I'm in Hampshire too!!

I'm in Whiteley, which is in between Southampton and Portsmouth.  I have a daughter of 14 and a son of 10.

Would love to meet up with more SWK people!!

I'm Co-ordinating the Easter at the Fort holiday for the 4 night stay. Are any of you going?
