AAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHH  Ok feel better but its that time again where i have to go to yet another event as a single person. This one is made all the more bleugh because every other person going isn't flipping single. They are all couples except me and C. This leads to 2 things....the women I don't know will be eyeing me suspiciously as I am obviously after their husbands.....(this happened at a work friends wedding recently  ) Or I'll get the pity looks and ' you'll meet someone soon' because of course I can't be happy AND single can I..... It just makes these things really hard work!!!! And I didn't even get a plus one this time either.....  |

That sounds like a fab idea!!!1
I remember my first wedding alone! only stayed a while as felt a right prune!
However, have not got to the stage where i don't care! I like single life, although a bit lonely sometimes, I don't have to give the remote to anyone, cook dinner at a certain time and listen to someone snoring all night, well apart from the dog!
Go with a good friend who is single too and you'll have more fun, people watching!

Aww you lots always know how to put a smile on my face!! Have decided to put on my glad rags (as much you can at an alcohol free christening!) with a huge smile on my face in a can't beat them so eff the lot of them type of thing! and no Helen I wouldn't want their husbands esp when all the do is moan about how completely rubbish they are (apparently one hubby only gets up once a night to feed the baby....how rubbish is that  ) |

apparently one hubby only gets up once a night to feed the baby....how rubbish is that ) Yeah, lol - how rubbish we can laugh at that. My ex used to say "I get up everytime you get up" what a lousy excuse. Once in the night to feed the baby, she doesn't know how lucky she is! Enjoy yourself hun, I was in a similar situation but actually enjoyed it and was sober cos was driving. You will have fun x |
