Separation & Divorce / Re: son dont want to stay at dads

You would probably be best advised to raise this issue with a healthcare professional or social worker that is familiar with your son.

I hope you find a workable solution.

Be clear on this ...

Almost everything in your post is irrelevant with respect to the amount of child maintenance.  So far as I recall the only data of note is your earnings (actual), the number of dependent children and the number of nights they stay over with you.

Furthermore there is no connection (in this country) between access/contact and the payment of child maintenance.

Have you considered asking CSA/CMS to handle the assessment and maybe manage the payments too?

We all have different circumstances but fwiw I'd be happy if my son is.

Some of the hostel holidays have bedrooms with capacity for five.

Then, of course, there is the camping ... do you have a tent?

M went to her dad last night, and today I woke up at 14:30.
Definitely a pajama day today. Game of Thrones and other violent and rude programmes.
How relaxing.

It really depends on your son. Does he have friends nearby?

Hi All not posted for a few years, but this came up today, any advice would be most welcomed.

I'm the parent with care, we have a shared residency order, we have had a mutual arrangement for contact in place for several years problem free.

Just learnt today, his Mum has changed her work days, which means in the school hols, my 14 year old son will be home alone from 9am to 3pm.
She previously only worked Mon Tues Weds, I work Thurs Fri Sat Sun, but now she works Fri as well.

Do you think it's ok for him to be home alone on the Fri 9am to 3pm?

She literally works 2 mins from her home in a day care centre.

What does the law say about a youth being home alone.

Any thoughts?
