Can anyone point me in the direction of useful websites for litigants in person? I have to represent myself against my ex husband who has much more money than me. He has insisted on a contested hearing as not all of his access demands regarding our young child were agreed to. He will have his solicitor and barrister in court with him. I will be representing myself. He has called the CAFCASS officer in our case as a witness which I have no problem with, but I am apparently not allowed to call anyone? No reason was given for this other than the magistrates clear frustration with him that this was happening at all. I have very good reasons for not wanting him to have too much access and paperwork to back those reasons up. He is the Applicant, and his team block any attempt I make to introduce paperwork into the court bundle. Surely this defeats the purpose of a hearing as I won't be able to make my case? I am very very worried as I don't know what my rights are and how this is going to be different to a Finding of Facts Hearing. Any advice gratefully received.
