EXTRA CAMPING STUFF
« on: October 25, 2011, 10:42:52 AM »
For the past couple of years I've been threatenning to come camping and I always chicken out!  Due to a few reasons really - lack of funds to buy tent and stuff, the fact that I have fibromyalgia and am worried that my whole body will give up the goat if I spend more than a couple of hours on an air-bed!

Well I know I've missed this year, but I've realised also that Rosie and I haven't had a break for the last 2 years and to be honest, it's got to stop.  Also I read all the stories on the camping trips and I know we'd have super fun, and my back would just have to recover.

As it's the end of the season, I just wondered if anyone was packing up there stuff and had any extra items that they would happily donate, or have anything they wanted to sell.  All donations greatly received!!!!

Thanks very much in advance and look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Glad you are going to join us Nicky, i was totally against camping until this year when I decided to go for it and now I love it  ;D. Can't wait for the season to start again!!
I would advise you to get the best tent you can afford preferably one you can stand up in.

Sorry don't have any spare stuff but look forward to seeing you.

Sharon
If you obey all the rules you miss out on all the fun!!!
Wouldn't it be nice if the world was flat then we could push off people we didn't like!

Thanks Sharon.  The Notts posse have asked in the past and they are a fab group, but due to my Fibromyalgia I've always chickened out!  Will keep an eye out for stuff, hopefully when the carer's allowance comes through for Dad!

Look forward to maybe meeting you.

Sorry Hellshine, I've only just read your post.  Well if you can do it, so can I, you've inspired me.  I'm going to have a look in the sales for stuff!  I would very much welcome your extra bits.  Where are you?

Nicky x
