refund & cancellation policy
For any event that you want
to cancel, please write to us at orders@singlewithkids.co.uk
(verbal communication is not sufficient) & we will try our best to
re-sell the place(s) for you, as we often have a waiting list.
IF
YOU CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY
Providing you give us MORE THAN 56 DAYS NOTICE BEFORE the date
of the holiday, you will receive a refund of your deposit(s), less a £15
Cancellation Fee and the Payment Processing Fee that we paid to our
credit/debit card merchant.
If you cancel
BETWEEN 28 DAYS AND 56 DAYS BEFORE the date of the holiday, you will
receive a refund of your deposit(s), less a £30 Cancellation Fee and
the Payment Processing Fee that we paid to
our credit/debit card merchant. You may also be held liable
for half of your outstanding balances if we cannot re-sell ALL of
your places.
If you wish to
cancel WITHIN 28 DAYS of the holiday date, you risk losing all
deposit monies paid (and you will also be held liable for any outstanding
balances) if we cannot re-sell ALL of
the places you have booked. You will only receive a
refund (less a £30
Cancellation Fee) if we can re-sell your place(s). We will also
charge you the Payment Processing Fee that we paid to our
credit/debit card merchant.
If you simply do
not turn up for an event without contacting us, you will
automatically forfeit any money paid, and will also be liable for
any outstanding balances.
Any refund due, will be paid within 28
days of informing us of your intention to cancel OR when all of your
places have been filled, whichever is applicable within the context
of your cancellation date, in relation to the holiday date (see
individual conditions as set out above).
IF WE
CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY
In exceptional
circumstances it may be necessary, at Single With Kids discretion,
to cancel your holiday. If this
situation arises you will be offered an alternative holiday of
comparable standard (if available).
Where this is not possible, a full
refund will be made of all monies paid. Single With
Kids will endeavour
not
to cancel your holiday
except for
unexpected circumstances outside our control, or where you have
failed to make full payment. Circumstances outside of our control
include but are not limited to war, threat of war, riot, civil
strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear
threat/disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions. If
cancellation or curtailment of your holiday occurs as a result of
circumstances beyond our control, and the consequences of which could
not have been avoided or foreseen, even with all due care, Single
With Kids will not pay any compensation, nor be responsible for any
costs or expenses incurred by you as a result.
CANCELLING
PRE-TICKETED EVENTS
For any pre-ticketed
events, including, but not limited to concert trips and theme parks,
where we are committed to ticket purchase(s), no refund will be
given unless you, or we, can resell the ticket(s).
If we manage to re-sell your tickets, we will refund you, minus a
nominal charge of £2.50 for each ticket that is cancelled (in
recognition of the effort we expend to find a replacement buyer).
We will also charge you the Payment
Processing Fee that we paid to our credit/debit card merchant.
Our policy is that
wherever possible we WILL issue a refund.
