What's it like on a SingleWithKids single parent holiday?  We know that you're probably quite apprehensive about holidaying with other single parents for the first time, but there really is nothing to fear.  It's normal to feel a little nervous before your first holiday with us - the main thing to remember is that you're not on your own and everyone is in the same situation. 

Our single parent holidays are escorted by at least one coordinator, so if you do have any concerns, there's always someone to turn to.

W It was great to have adult company - the kids always had someone to talk / hang out with.  Plenty of trips offered but no pressure to take part.  Entertainment at hotel was excellent, beach couldn't have been nearer if you tried.  Chrissie was absolutely brilliant, made everyone feel so welcome, group events planned but no pressure to join in.  Couldn't have asked to join a better group of people.  Have made so many new friends.  Excellent value for money even though I paid for 7 !!!"

"This was my first holiday 'alone' with my girls.  SWK meant that we already had friends waiting for us when we reached the hotel.  Everyone was very welcoming and friendly.  Amanda was a great coordinator and we were made to feel comfortable by the group, immediately.  Everyone was able to spend as much time with the group, or not, as they wished.  There was plenty of fun and laughter, and I had a relaxing time... a great way to take a holiday as a single parent due to a ready made support network of other parents in the same position - other people to go to dinner with, and always someone who'll keep an eye on your kids for 5 minutes if needed. "Fabulous time - perfect hosts. Richard and Chrissie - plenty of daytime opportunities for group outings, no pressure applied - could do own thing if wanted or join in - loved get together on beach - fabulous idea, great fun - a simple, cheap but totally wonderful idea.  Last evening get together at restaurant, also well planned and the 100% take up from the other single parents speaks for itself.  Lovely parents I met, the fantastic children my kids met, sat on the beach drinking sangria, watching all the kids having fun in sea at nearly 11pm, feeling part of one massive family, feeling safe and secure, knowing my kids were always being looked after if my back was turned.  My kids say it's the best holiday they ever had - one of my kids was in tears as they did not want to come home - what better proof of a good time!!"

"Had a fantastic time - both myself and the kids loved it.  The kids, even the eldest one (Jack 14) loved the Easter activities, especially the Easter egg hunt and the sweet hunt!!  We all enjoyed the trip to Conkers and extended our last day by visiting Twycross Zoo.  Very tired kids and mum!!  Both coordinators were very friendly and helpful - instantly felt part of the group when I arrived.  The activities they had arranged were fun and appealed to all ages - which was a hard job when the age range was between 2 and 14 years old!  We had a great time and would love to come back.  Met load of lovely parents and children and made some great friends.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!  Would have liked the karaoke on both days, but understand it's not everyone's taste.  Great, great holiday - keep doing what you are already doing - hope to see you all soon!"
